Lemon Meringue Pie 9 in. Pie shell

1 1//2 cup sugar
Meringue
3 T cornstarch 3 egg whites
3T flour 1/2 t canilla
1 1/2 cups water 1/2 t. cream of tarter
3 egg yolks 6 T sugar
2 T butter
1/2 t. lemon peel
1/3 cup lemon juice

1. cook crust
2. In sauce pan mix sugar, flour cornstatch and a dash of salt. Slowly stir in water. Cook at med. high heat. Pour about half of the mixture into egg yolks. Mix and return to sauce pan then bring to a gentle boil. Cook and stir for 2 mins.
Remove from heat and sti in butter and lemon peel and slowly add lemon juice mix well.
3. Pour into pie shell and spread meeringue on top sal to edge.
4. Cook at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 mins. or until golden brown
