Scones

The only way to make these are with something in them...I'm a fan of chocolate chips!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick unsalted butter- cut up
2/3 cup whole milk

Instructions:
mix 1st ingredients in bowl
cut in butter with a pastry blender
add sugar
add milk
stir and then OPTIONAL: (add chocolate chips or currants)
shape into ball knead 10-12 times (try not to over- knead it)
split into two circles (don't make the circles to big, tops 8 inches across)
cut each circle each into 8 wedges
place on ungreased cookie sheet
bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes
