Luscious Lemon Layer cake

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. Sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 T. Lemon juice
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1 t. b. powder
3/4 t. soda
1 c. milk
cream shortening and sugar together
beat eggs and vanilla
then add the rest of the dry ingredients.
mix and add milk.
9in. layer cake pans.. 25 minuets
oven 350
make a lemon filling..
