GRANDMA’S BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES
¾ c. light brown sugar 1 ½ c. whole wheat flour
¾ c. white sugar 1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter (softened) 1 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. hot water 1 pkg. (11 oz.) butterscotch chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1) Cream butter with sugars.
2) Add eggs, hot water & vanilla. Blend until smooth.
3) Add flour & baking soda. Mix well.
4) Add nuts, chips & oatmeal. Fold in until mixture is even.
5) Drop tsp. size balls of cookie dough onto cookie sheets.
6) Bake at 350 for 10 – 12 min. or until edges brown a bit.
Yay for cookies!!! Nix on the walnuts and I'm sure they will be amazing!
