Aunt Deanna and Uncle Jim

Aunt Deanna and Uncle Jim stopped by last week. They were in Ogden for Uncle Jim to have a stress test. Apparently he did really well on it. They caught me up on what some of their family is doing. RJ had just graduated from Snow College with his Associates Degree. Samantha is going to school at BYU and is in their Art Department. Apparently she got into a very competitive program that does graphics for places like Pixar and Disney. They were very proud that she had gotten into the program as it is really difficult to do. Another one of their grandsons, they didn't say which one it was, was in the middle of his Eagle Scout project. He had organized a petting zoo that went on all week. Admission for the Zoo was cans of food for the local food pantry. Having been around scouts for a few years now with Paul and seeing how lame their projects can be I thought that this one was pretty good.
Aunt Deanna and Uncle Jim were also able to dispel the rumors of Grandma coming back up here unfortunately. Apparently she tells everyone that she is coming up here for the summer, but no one feels that she can be moved anymore. She spends half the day in bed.
Uncle Jim looked REALLY good. The last time I had seen him he was starting to look and move like he was really old and decrepit, but this time- You would never guess he's turning 82 this month. He walked really well and was really involved in the conversation.
So that's my update on family here. Hope everyone is doing well.
